Happy Birthday Keri Hulme


Born this day 1947 Keri Hulme was the first New Zealander to win the Man Booker prize for her novel “The Bone People”.  An advocate of New Zealand and of Maori culture some of her early work was published under the nom de plume Kai Tainui.
